We currently have an Accounts Payable/Accounting Assistant position available. We are looking for high-energy individuals with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Position: Accounts Payable/Accounting Assistant, Part-Time
Reports to: Assistant Controller
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Schedule: Part-Time, with the possibility of Full-Time
General Summary: We are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable/Accounting Assistant to manage the accounts payable function and to perform daily bank account and general ledger reconciliations. The position involves accurately reviewing, coding and processing invoices, reconciling invoice discrepancies, data entry associated with accounts payable, journal entry, assist with month-end activities, maintenance of accounting records, and general support to the finance department. Prior experience is preferred along with an understanding of basic accounting practices. Excellent detail orientation, problem solving and time management skills required.
